1. Connect more with the women in my life
Lately, more and more of the women in my life have been available to connect. And I have been accepting these invitation! This month I intend to extend some invitations of my own, and connect deeply with these soul sisters. I have never had many girlfriends, but I've become better acquainted with the value of these relationships in the past few months. I want more of that.
2. Make time to quiet the mind
I spend a lot of time racing through thoughts in my head without paying attention to them, or even recognize if they align with my truth. I want to slow these thoughts down, and listen intently with my gut as my co-judge as my thoughts pass through my brain. I will only allow the thoughts with the highest truth be the ones to penetrate my heart.
3. Practice more gratitude
I've been writing three things per day that I am grateful for all April, but in May I want to make the list longer. And I want to feel them more.
4. Notice the trees
Half of the cherry blossoms are gone now. I want to notice and appreciate the ones that are still left, while celebrating the return of Vancouver's emerald summer. In May I will surround myself with green dreams and breathe in the life that trees emit.
5. Eat foods that heal
This can mean medicinal mushrooms and this can mean frozen pizza. Both heal in different ways. Both are necessary to tend to a breaking heart, and both are necessary for optimal health.
